DRIVING SCHOOL PERMITS

 

The public are welcome to operate driving schools whenever there is a vacancy. To operate a Driving Institute, applicants must be Private Limited Companies (Syarikat Sdn Bhd/Syarikat Bhd).

Detailed information will be advertised.

 

SM1 FORM

Instructor Certificate

Required documents to be forwarded to the Committee through the state's RTD Director:-
 

  1. Completed SM2A Form (RM1.00)

  2. Photocopy of applicant's Competent Driving License

  3. Photocopy of applicant's National Identity Card

  4. 2 colour photographs (25mm X 32mm)

  5. Letter of recommendation from the Driving Institute or Driving School

  6. Other supporting documents

 

Conditions:-
 

  1. Must be a holder of a valid Driving License for the required classes.

    2.

  2. Must be a holder of a CDL for a consecutive period of not less than 5 years.

  3. Free from any conviction under Road Transport Act 1987 or any other acts.

 VEHICLE CERTIFICATED

    SM3 is required for each vehicle to be used for driving lessons.

      2. Photocopy of Driving Institute/Driving School permit
      3. Photocopy of trainer's certificates
